The HS HOTSSON chain celebrated the placing of the cornerstone for its new development, the first one in the city of Guadalajara.
The exclusive ceremony took place in the presence of industry figures such as Patricia Newton, Chairman of the Board of directors of HNF, investment group of HS HOTSSON Guadalajara-Expo; and government authorities such as Jesús Pablo Lemus Navarro, Mayor of Zapopan, and German Ernesto Ralis, Tourism Secretary of the state of Jalisco. Also present were Alejandro Mateos Berlanga, CEO at CAPITALI Grupo Hotelero and Leopoldo Soto, the Director of Operations at CAPITALI Grupo Hotelero who hosted the event, among other personalities.
This new 5 star hotel will tower 16 stories above the street and will offer 215 guest rooms and the finest services available from HS HOTSSON hotels in their various locations: salons, HOTSSON Club, business center, gym, spa and bar.
Construction is expected to be completed by fall 2021, with an investment of 28 million U.S. This project will provide employment to more than 500 during its construction phase and to 220 after its opening.
With an exclusive location on Mariano Otero Avenue in Zapopan, HS HOTSSON Guadalajara-Expo hotel is only the first of the hospitality projects that the HS HOTSSON chain foresees for the state of Jalisco.
The opening of two new boutique hotels was announced on the same evening. One will be located on Alcalde Avenue in an 18th century renovated colonial residence, while the second, located in the town of Tequila, will occupy what was a longstanding distillery, and will boast 80 suites.
